The Aroma of Love…
Sometimes, even when it’s not perfect, it can still be just right!
Synopsis:
Acclaimed coffee expert, Brian Chandler’s (Kip Pardue,) perfect life is turned upside down when his boss, the renegade coffee mogul Calvert Jenkins (James Brolin) sends him to Thailand to inspect a crop of exotic beans. Upon arrival, Brian is greeted by Ticha (Mamee Nakprasit); who has reluctantly agreed to escort him to her family’s farm in southern Thailand. Leaving the bustle of Bangkok, their journey
through the picturesque landscape is wrought with disagreements and bickering - not made easier when they are joined by friends of Tisha’s family Mook (Kalorin Nemayothin) and Werner (Spencer Garrett,) who recognize there’s something more to Brian and Tisha’s relationship than meets the eye. Tensions increase further when Brian’s boss, Jenkins unexpectedly arrives at the plantation, abruptly canceling the coffee bean purchase Brian has just made, throwing the crop growing family into a panic. Tisha thinks Brian is behind the reneged deal and retreats to the hills, as Brian’s fiance, Amanda (Laura Sorenson) arrives to check on her beau and plan their wedding. When Jenkins reveals his motives, Brian is forced to choose between ‘perfection’ with Amanda or embrace real love and possible happiness - high in the hills of a beautiful exotic faraway world, in this bitter sweet romantic comedy reminiscent of both Fools Rush In and Eat Pray Love.
