Matty
Matthews, a visitor to a remote Cape Cod town, uncovers
a murderous scandel involving a 73 year-old local best-selling
author, Atwater Bridges. The author's claim to fame is a
thriller entitled "dirt boy", so popular that
an entire town, Atwater Commons, is named after him. As
Matty listens to the book on tape, he begins to notice strange
events around town which appear to be mimicking the murderous
events in the novel. Each new discovery threatens to implicate
the author, the residents of the seaside town where he lives,
and ultimately, Matty himself, as he draws closer to solving
the mystery of his own life.
