Synopsis:

"And I had this hand up like this and I had my other hand on the 45 down here (on his hip) and I looked up and there's a guy. He either had a spear or a bow and arrow on me," O'Sullivan remembers…"They started a fire and brought in the bamboo tube which was a little disconcerting. And I didn't see any other pigs in there... I was it."

WITH EDGE OF YOUR SEAT ACTION AND BONE CHILLING SUSPENSE, IT PLAYS LIKE A GHOST STORY - WITH THE GHOST STILL LIVING…

This film re-enacts the true account of ace fighter pilot Charles O’Sullivan, shot down in the jungles of New Guinea during World War II. O’Sullivan survived thirty days in the jungle, encountered a native tribe while seeking help, and was forced to fight his way out of their village when they attacked him in an attempt to steal his blood!  He was then hunted through the jungle as he made his escape from their territory. Sully found a friendly Australian outpost and was ultimately able to return home. Fifty years later, the wreckage of O’Sullivan’s plane was discovered. When he attempted to visit the wreck site, Sully learned that the story of his encounter with the tribal warriors had turned into a local legend, still being told among the tribes in the region. Would this endanger his life should he decide to return to the village and the site of the crash?  This unique documentary takes you on a journey through the Pacific War into the jungles of New Guinea, reliving one soldier’s harrowing and ultimately heroic experience during World War II.
