Israel in a Time of Terror

Terror bombing after terror bombing, day after day. A sidewalk café becomes as dangerous as a military outpost. A simple trip to the supermarket becomes a horror of flying nails, glass and death. How do Israelis deal with this pervasive terror? How do they explain their near-solitude in the world or their feelings towards Arabs? These are a few of the tough questions posed in this film. Weaving interviews with street footage from this war torn country brings us closer than news footage can ever make possible. Interviews with randomly chosen Israeli men and women reveal a disturbing picture of everyday life from the point of view of ordinary Israeli citizens. An important historical document of a turbulent time, we will never be able to see the Middle-Eastern conflict the same way.
