Loudmouth Soup

Directed by Adam Watstein

Ever Wanted To Go To A Hollywood Dinner Party?

“Intense And Spontaneous!  Sly Barbs Are As Plentiful As Martini Olives” -New York Times

“Excellent Performances” -New York Magazine

Filmed in one night with seven cameras and no second takes, Loudmouth Soup is the story of a Hollywood dinner party gone wrong.

Catherine and Jason are nervously preparing their first L.A. dinner party. They have just moved from New York and are celebrating the sale of their first
feature film, a hit at Sundance. They feel like fish out of water and are intent on making new friends. Keith, a new acquaintance of Catherine’s arrives first, flirting with Catherine and annoying Jason. Soon after, Charlie, a producer who has optioned Jason’s new script, arrives with Kim, his assistant. Blake, an indie film guru, gets the last seat, and the six of them settle into a weird, tense dinner filled with the hyperbolic movie-talk that only exists in L.A. When
a surprise guest knocks on the door, the party takes an unexpected turn.
Featuring veteran cast of television actors including James Tupper (Men in
Trees, Richard Linklater’s upcoming Me and Orson Welles) Nancy Bell (Huff, Law and Order), two time Tony nominee Kevin Chamberlin (Christmas with the Kranks, Road to Perdition) Michael James Reed (Six Feet Under, 24) and Kit Pongetti (Scrubs, The Gilmore Girls). It’s Curb Your Enthusiasm meets The Player.
