	A Classic French Murder Thriller…. Carnival daredevil Fabius (Pierre Brasseur) is tired of his dangerous job and his nagging wife (Arletty), whom he jealously suspects of having an affair. A botched attempt to kill her lands Fabius in the lap of the seductive carnival owner Catherine, a woman turned on by reckless men. Fabius now must deal not only with his wife, but his new lover and boss as well as her paralyzed lover. Something must give.
