Through beautiful Isabel’s body flows warm and turbulent coastal blood. Sangre Costeña, or Coastal Blood, tells the story of Isabel, a beautiful woman from a small town, who arrives in Mexico City, to work as a maid for a very influential politician and a public figure. Soon after her arrival, the politician takes notice of her natural beauty and becomes obsessed with her. Meanwhile, Isabel is touched by his stature, power and interest in her, and she gravitates towards this forbidden love. Eventually, the politician’s desire for Isabel, and Isabel’s bad instincts lead them together, triggering a chain reaction of tragic events involving all involved.
