In 1953, the entire population of Wicksboro, Texas vanished
without a trace. Forty-five years later, a witness comes
out of hiding to tell his story. A pair of filmmakers exposes
an incredible story as they interview Lloyd, an elderly
man with a remarkable past that he’s kept secret until
now. Lloyd claims that in the 1940s he was deeply involved
in making the population of Wicksboro disappear as well
as the cover-up that ensued. Lloyd's story is fascinating
and horrific though hardly credible. But as the filmmakers
visit and explore what remains of Wicksboro, they learn
to their horror that his story may be corroborated and there
may be more truth to Lloyd's story than they ever imagined.
