Smokers

An urban pulp noir, Smokers tell the story of five New Yorkers; Aaron who has just arrived in the big apple form Wichita, Kansas, and is looking to score a bag of weed. His travels lead him to Indo, a small time dealer in Tompkins Square Park. Aaron smokes his bag and his journey to score another from Indo begins the journey that is Smokers. Aaron comes in contact with Bill, and through him he meets Carlos, a mid level dealer who is supplied by Paula in the Bronx. Each character's story weaves into the other, ending in a heart stopping robery where the fate of all unexpectedly merge, in a climactic ending that will leave no one out of harms way. A quintessential New York movie, Smokers reveals the beauty and the gritty of New York, taking its viewers into the fast, loud and always comic underwold of illegal substance dealings. In the tradition of The Killing and Pulp Fiction.
